Heritage Farm is a family-owned farm located in the Jordan Community of Clarendon County, south of the town of Manning. Peggi and Mike Sorrell, along with Peggi’s father, Carl Jackson, have established a brand new farmstead on approximately ten acres that have been farmed by Peggi’s relatives for generations. The list of products expected in 2014 include brown eggs from a small flock of free-range Rhode Island Red hens, strawberries, potatoes, radishes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, pumpkins, string beans, tomatoes, okra, melons, and herbs. (Future plans will include daylillies, blueberries, blackberries, grapes and asparagus.) Patrons may either pick their own or buy what we have harvested. It will be fresh, and it will be delicious. Visitors are welcome to stop by and see how the Sorrells are growing things. We also offer U-Pick strawberries.
